Stayed here for four days, attending a Conference. The hotel is in a lovely location near the beautiful S. Maria Degli Angeli, well situated for shops and coffee bars and a bus ride from the Old Town.
Rooms are beautifully clean but with some of the smallest bathrooms I have ever seen. I did have to ask to be moved from my first (single) room as the bathroom was so small the shower tray had to stand against the wall so you could get to the toilet. The second bathroom was slightly larger and the bedroom had a wonderful view.
Everyone morning at 7 am it was really wonderful to be woken by the Bells of Assisi. It was not so good to be kept awake for an hour in the middle of one night by the people in the room above dragging furniture about non-stop!
Our food was part of our Conference package and simple (lots of pasta and salad) but very tasty. My vegetarian option consisted of extra cheese one night only but there was still enough that I could eat.
The staff were friendly. The hotel has a lovely garden in front of it and a pleasant coffee bar/small gift shop. It would have been nice to have it open later in the evening but it was only a short walk to nearby cafes where you could get the most delicious hot chocolate.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for short breaks, particularly as part of a touring holiday.
