This hotel is fantastic. It is nice and clean. The rooms are small but comfortable. Looks new. There is a small pool that we enjoyed! The only thing is that you have to have a car because it is not in the town center of Assisis.

Dal Moro Gallery hotel is located in Santa Maria degli Angeli, a small town below Assisi. The cathedral is 100 meters from the hotel, and Assisi itself is about 10 minutes driving.
It's a modern hotel with some nice design, and free parking.

I was impressed by the room, not very large but warm, pleasant, comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice, with a power shower.
Breakfast: good choice.

Overall this small design hotel is really nice, very clean and warm.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in the week before Christmas (mid winter). I realised as soon as we arrived and saw the location of the hotel in relation to Assisi that I'd made a mistake. The suburb of Santa Maria degli Angeli has little of interest other than the Porziuncola (went to Mass here and the singing was lovely). I had booked what they called a junior suite but the room was small and featured the shower directly behind the bed separated by glass....... strange. They quickly moved us to a larger suite that was comfortable. Ater the first night, I thought to move to a hotel in Assisi but the hotel insisted I'd have to pay for all 5 nights so we stayed (though the hotel was empty - on a couple of days I think we may have been the only guests). As it turned out, we didn't find the location a problem. It's an easy walk to the station and on seperate days we took trains to Florence and Purugia. There's a regular bus service up to the medievel town of Assisi leaving from the station and we found it a lovely walk back down to the hotel (takes about 45 minutes). We enjoyed the breakfast and found the food in the restaurant excellent. There's a supermarket close by and we often bought snacks (salmon,local cheeses,breads) rather than eating out. The hotel is somewhat sterile and characterless. Our stay was a happy experience.

On arrival the hotel staff were frindly and spoke English. The room was small-ish but modern and clean. The balcony overlooked the basilica of santa maria angeli (the back part of the hotel) so was nice to see that. The mini bar didn't work (the second hotel with this problem we had in tuscany) but no real issue (they came to fix it but still not working). It was a few minute walk to a bus stop to take you to Assisi and the last but came back at 11pm. Its a nice little town, reaonabley quiet. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. it was booked through Otel.com and there were no issues checking in.
