Generally i never go to take a dinner in hotel'restaurants. When I go anywhere I prefer to look some place outside the hotel. But this time we decided to dinner in restaraunt in the hotel. there were not too much people, we were almost a alone. antipasto was made by mix of local traditions, the second plate was agnello. and wine proposed by waiter was also very good.
one thing I've noticed, that probably they serve a piece of meat (affettato) that was not eated in the evening - for the other persons at breakfast time. so next day they used the same food that was not eated before. because when next day I came for breafast and took a little piece of meat (affettato) it was a little bit dried with a little piece of radicchio on it. Obviously, this meat has been already served in the evening before....

I mistakenly booked this hotel down the hill from Assisi thinking it was the same hotel I stayed in a couple of years ago just outside the center of town in Assisi on top of the hill. Fortunately we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and modern style and were happy to get a full sized shower with bathtub! Our room had a balcony overlooking the street in this clean and quaint town.
The hotel is located a half a block away from the beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli. You can take a bus up the hill to Assisi or a taxi (which is more expensive of course). We only stayed one night and did not dine in the restaurant. We ate at an amazing trattoria in Assisi, Al Camino Vecchio, which I have also reviewed.

The hotel was clean and stylish as you should expect from Italians. The staff were all so friendly,helpful and competant yet never aloof. The restaurant provided us with the best food we experienced in our six days in Umbria. We had intially intended to stay only one night at a hotel, then move around the region. We drove from Perugia to Assisi and thought them both to busy and commercialised. Then having remembered driving through Santa Maria with its impressive bascillica. We stopped in the centre of the town for a coffee and saw the Dal moro. Although we travelled around and looked at other hotels we thought none warranted us moving out so we stayed the five nights in the hotel. Hotel room rate included convenient carpark attatched to the hotel

Loved this very modern hotel,, though this hotel is small it's luxurious and is highly recommended. I choose this hotel after hearing good reviews on trip advisor and I am not disappointed, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast was five stars will most likely coming back to this hotel, only bad point was the Wifi was slow on the second floor.
