“Low Value, Doesn't Worth, Don't Book It”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

We have spent our 15 days of family vacation at the Sea View hotel and we are very disappointed. On the first place because of the attitude of the owners of the hotel, very un-polite and non-hostile. Rooms are specious, but beds are very uncomfortable, hard mattresses, thick and firm pillows guarantee you'll wake up with back eke. Ceramic tiles everywhere, except where you need them most - on the bathroom floor. There you will see some cracked cement. No hot water in the shower, just a little bit warmer and it's salted like.
Breakfast is so poor and terrible. The second day of our stay they run out of cheese, the third day they run out of ham and they didn't refill it until the end of our stay. So we had to eat butter and jam every day. When I asked if they could change something I had to listen a 10 minutes of yelling in-front of other guests that what we get is enough and that they are not obliged to improve this.
The swimming pool only looks nice, but it leaves blue stains on your feet or hands which are not easy to remove later on.
They charge for the sunbeds on the beach, regular price, which is not the case with all other neighboring hotels where the guests of the hotel do not pay for the sunbeds.
I guess the only positive thing about this hotel is the location. Close to the one of the best beaches on the island and close to the local restaurants and taverns.
Maybe you wouldn't mind all this remarks if you are a backpacker and you need a place to sleepover or just for few days, but I'm certain I would never recommend this hotel to another traveler.

“So friendly! recently refurbished.”

Just returned from Santorini, had a wonderful time stayed at Marillia Village which was nice but typically basic greek island accomodation. Holiday was made even more enjoyable by our evenings at the pool bar of the Sea View Hotel. The recently refurbished rooms look great and as for the family who own the hotel, the nicest people along with Dan the bartender such an asset. We also spent time at the pool bar during the day. Well worth a visit! Resort is a mix of modern bars and traditional tavernas, Ammoss fish tavern best for good food most relaxed atmosphere.

“Basic but Brilliant”

Sea View Studios is set on the main strip of Perivolos with quiet/trendy/modern/traditional bars and tavernas- despite being so close it is really quiet from about 10pm a night until 2pm the next day. Loads of good tavernas- esp- Charlenas!!
At 2pm-ishthe beach front comes alive with music and beautful young greeks and italians- it is definately the place to be. Although its full of young people, it is still really civilised and full of great music at JoJo's and Wetstories, perfect for young couples.
Beach- yu have to pay for sunbeds but there is LOADS of choice and a range to choose from. You have your own beach service that bring drinks/food to u on ur sunbed! lovely!

Thira and Oia- MUST get a car for the day!!! cheap rates.

HOTEL- basic room but huge and nice and quiet.
have to pay extra for toaster and kettle
good pool and sunbeds
good views of pool and see
air-con 45euros worked great!
friendly owner and manager
safe!
Greek Commidation- BASIC- get what you pay for.. if ur used to 5 * all inclusive dont bother... but as a base for an amazing holiday, its perfect and was featured in MORE magazine.

Would reccommend for young couples looking for a romantic, traditional yet modern greek destination!!!!

“ok for a budget holiday, dont expect too much!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

This is our 2nd trip to Santorini, 1st time to Perivolos as a destination, i will highlight the positives and negatives -
Positives -
Location - could not be better for a beach location (turn right f out of hotel or amazing but dearer day time beach & bars, turn left for a 20 minute walk to Perissa and its restaraunts and tavernas)
Cost - Sea View apartments cost us around £550 for 2 people for 1 week (flights and transfer included).
Room - Very big room, very basic amentities (get what yo pay for) dont expect any luxuries!
Negatives -
Rooms - beds were like prison cots, rooms cleaned sporadically, towels seemed old and well used, bathroom had a leak through the middle of floor, Shower was old and luke warm (room number 215 i think), dont buy air con as our room didnt get too hot at all, with wooden blinds closed.
We didnt use the pool at all due to the beach location, didnt eat at the Meteora restaraunt or drink in the bar, so cant help you there?
If your going to Santorini, you will love it (i proposed to my girlfriend this time around at santo Wines). make sure you go to Oia, go to Amoudi beach, go to Thira in the night time, look out for Billy Brown singing in the bars, very good. In Perissa, find a bar called 'Saloon Bar', its on the main road (not beach road) to Perissa by the bakery and not far from Fusion. Have a beer, ask for Stathos (the owner) and his wife Opal (amazing nail technician and beautician) and mention that Neil & Simone from Liverpool sent you.
Happy Holidays, e mail me if you ant any more info.

“A fantastic relaxing place with all you need on the doorstep”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2010

This maybe 2 star accommodation but it is in a fabulous location if you're wanting peace & tranquility. The accommodation is basic & adequate, you get want you pay for in a Greek 5 star location. The rooms are spacious with all the facilities you'd expect. The rooms are cleansed every day and a supply of fresh towels & sheets every other. Oliver is most obliging, just ask. The bar and restaurant are owned by Irini & Roland who certainly enhance this hotel. The restaurant - Meteora provides excellent food and entertainment to add that extra something to your holiday. Irini who provides your hotel welcoming is a fantastic hostess who is more than accommodating to ensure you have the best time ever. Irini supplies that bit of extra that most places dont give. The food and bar prices are some of the lowest in the location..... not to be missed. We would certainly book here again. We stayed two weeks and had the most fantastic holiday ever, there is plenty to do and see. The local transport is excellent to get around the island. There are fabulous bars and restaurants in near by Perissa if you fancy a change froom the Meteora, but you wont get the Irini entertainment. Thanks to Olympic holidays, Oliver and his wife for cleaning the rooms so well & a special thanks to Irini & Roland & their staff who make this Sea View Hotel well worth a visit. Thanks again, Ian & Seamus.
