As mentioned, there is a an air of sedateness but also of spaciousness, both inside and out.
As well as the usual bar and restaurant, there is also a leisure centre and mini golf (our German host thought the term "crazy golf" amazing) and a nice playground.
The room was very nice with a balcony looking out over the order of Bavaria. Breakfast excellent. We used it as a base for the Bavarian forest and Passau and Regensburg and it was great to escape back to, though not that any of the cities/towns in Bavaria is croweded when one is used to Dublin. Only downside was the long corridor to our room with a worn carpet, but that's common enough and I think there is some upgrading going on very discreetly. Overall, excellent.

My husband and I stayed three nights to explore the Bavarian woods.
We liked the hotel, even though it had a somewhat 'sedate' feel to it (lots of silver haired guests, very corny singer in the bar in the evening).
The room was comfortable and clean with a good bed and bathroom. The location was quiet and suited our purpose, we could take long walks right from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good with a nice array of food.
By booking way in advance through the accor website we got a nice bargain.
We would stay in this hotel again.
