We booked two rooms for two nights at the Golden Tulip, its the only hotel in Papendrecht so choice is limited, the public areas don't reflect the rest of the hotel, which are quite modern and bright, the bed rooms are in need of a refresh and are quite simple and sparse, the carpet in our bedroom needed to be given a good clean as it had several stains on it, overall the room was clean and we couldn't complain.
What they don't mention on their site is that they are rebuilding the hotel, we where there on a Saturday through to Monday morning and there was no building noise, until 0830 on Monday.
The staff are extremely helpful nothing is too much trouble.
Breakfast wasn't included in the rate, while there was a good choice of dutch breakfast, the scrambled eggs and bacon weren't that appetising, given how much they charge they could have refreshed the bacon and sausages more often or do eggs cooked to order.

Dear sir,
Thank you very much for your feedback on your stay in our hotel. I appologise for the stains in the carpet. We will ofcourse check all the rooms for stains in the carpets immediately. I also discussed the matter of the bacon and the scrambeld eggs with our breakfast staff. They will refresh the bacon and eggs more frequently!.
