This is a good choice for business travellers to Stork Fokker. The rooms are clean and bright. They're not huge, but they are adequate. The rooms in the Garden wing are larger than those in the main building. The restaurant is good, but slow. Don't expect to grab a quick bite here. Unfortunately the choice of restaurants is pretty limited in Papendrecht, although in Dordrecht, there is a much wider selection.
To get around I hired a bicycle. It costs about 15Euro a day and the hotel will sort it out for you and it is then delivered to the hotel for you. I took this down to the water bus to go to Dordrecht. It's about 7 minutes on the bike and then a 5 minute water bus ride. Dordrecht is lovely, apparently the oldest Town in Holland. I'm not sure if this is true, but it is very typically dutch. The water bus stops quite early at night though, apart form on Thursday and Friday evenings, which are late night shopping evenings in the two towns. If you miss the last water bus though, it's a 5km bike ride round to Papendrecht again, so not a huge problem.
Also within cycling distance (approximately 6km) is Kinderdijke, a set of 19 windmills, again typically dutch.
This hotel has now changed it's name to the "Golden Tulip". I'd certainly stay here again, on business or for leisure.
