We spent 4 days in 5-bed apartment in the dependance of Aparthotel Des Alpes. The price was rather cheap (250 euros).
At the reception we were welcomed by some kind of human machine. Immediately, he started with the rules that you have to respect. To receive the key of the apartment, you have to pay the whole bill in advance, and leave a 150 euros of deposit. The deposit will be returned after they check the apartment before you leave it. Before the check you have to put all cooking equipment (forks, spoons, knives, plates, cups, pots etc.) on the kitchen table. We felt like some kind of thieves.
The furniture in apartment and all things in kitchen were old and we didn’t like it. The second day of our staying something got wrong with the toilet, the water wouldn’t go away. We informed the receptionist (the human machine) about the problem, so he called repairmen. Repairmen showed up the next day, but didn’t manage to do anything except leaving dirty marks on the floor from the front door to the bathroom and back. The day after they offered us to change the apartment, but as we were leaving next morning we refused.
We passed the check before leaving, so we got the deposit back (who would ever wanted to steel old spoons and glasses???). Nobody has apologized about the inconvenience that we’ve had, not to mention any price reduction. They wont see us any more.
