This is a great little hotel in a nice street near all the "action" in San Vito.
We had a great room at the front of the hotel on the 1st floor with a decent size bathroom and a small balcony which was good for hanging out the wet towels etc and standing with a cold refreshment in the early evening to watch the world drift into town. However, not big enough to get a couple of seats on so manage your expectations!!
Room was had plenty of room and was cleaned to perfection every day at a time to suit you. Great "wellness" centre on the 2nd floor which is very chilled and we had a lovely couple of hours on our own enjoying the sauna, steam room and plunge pool sipping herbal tea.
Fantastic restaurant attached to the hotel which will be reviewed in it's own right but needless to say its well worth booking and having a least trying out for one slap up dinner. You will take your breakfast there in the beautiful terraced area out back which has lovely lime trees, spacious tables, nice decoration and modern blues for your morning tuneage. Breakfast itself is a good selection of the usual fare with great cake if you can face the morning and believe me I can. Big shout out to the cafe americano which was just spot on - many thanks.
What really made this place for me was the staff - helpful, friendly people who really seemed to like their job and wanted you to embrace the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Sicily talk to these guys and girls and they will make sure you see the best of San Vito.
Hotel Ghibli, Vito and all the crew - I salute you.
