Booked this on-line because it was close to Trapani airport, where we had an early morning flight. It's new, small (8 or 9 rooms, maybe) attached to a petrol station and convenience store. A double room was 70 Euros. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff we dealt with (3 young men) were the friendliest and most helpful service personnel we'd encountered in 8 days on Sicily. The buffet continental breakfast was prefectly adequate, but one of the young men brought us a couple of delicious fresh pastries and explained that they were "typical Sicilian cuisine." He also brought us a bag of the sea salt harvested nearby (which gives the hotel its name), tied up nicely with a ribbon. Another of the staff called a cab to take us to the airport -- which raises just about the only problem we had with this place: We had to take a cab there from the town of Trapani and another to the Trapani airport. The hotel's about halfway between them, so there was no going out of our way, but cabs are expensive in Sicily. If you're driving a rental car, this place would be just about perfect.
