After to get our fligth cancelled, customer service from the hotel refused to rebook our stay, so to stay 2 nigths later they want me to pay extras €130. Not fair at all. Avoid it if you can.

I made a list:
1-No air conditioning; it was 90-degrees in the room
2-They had no ice
3-There was a refrigerator with freezer in the room, but in the freezer there was ... wait for it ... BREAD?! No ice.
4-The shower door was missing. Youn think they'd notice`something like that. Water poured out onto the bathroom floor. Again, you'd think they'd notice soemthing like that.
5-It's a small t5hing but they had no stamps for postvcards--it's like they really didn;t want customers staying there.
6-They charged 15 euros to ride the 3 miles fom the airport-again, di they really want cutomers there?
7-Ther was no lock on the ground floor sliding glass window, nor was there a screen--90 in the room but if you weanted to cool off, you had to have a ground level sliding glass door open to the public. You can't safely have the window open; must be comforting to single women. Nice`operation, guys!
8-And finally, the weater glass in the bathroom was so dirty, it looked like they had been burning candles in it and then forgot to wash it.
9-Don't get me started on the restaurant they sent us to - La Locanda"-owner wiater wass a complete jerk1

This is for the Euro House Hotel, not the nearby Euro House Suites. The front desk clerks all spoke English well and were pleasant. The hotel room itself was very nice: quiet, fresh, clean, nice bathroom, new fixtures, Engish TV channels (BBC and CNN). However, internet access was only free from the hotel's single laptop in the lobby. One hour from my room cost three Euros.

The hotel is only 2 km from the airport, but it was quite difficult figuring out how to get to there. Shuttle services will try to gouge you for 30 Euros per person one way. And it seems the ROME taxis (which is all you see when you exit the terminal) won't make the short trip because they are waiting for the expensive fares to Rome. There is a separate queuing area for LOCAL FIUMICINO taxis that was very difficult to find near the train platform from the airport to Rome. The first taxi driver there wanted to charge 17 Euros. The next one would make the trip for 10 Euros so I chose him. As it turns out, I could have ordered a shuttle (for 10 Euros each way) if I'd had the right phone number to call (which I did not). Regardless, plan on spending at least 20 Euros per person to/from the airport from this hotel. Also, don't plan on breakfast being provided if you have to fly before 10:00 a.m.

Did not have our reservation, changed the price per night after our first night, no air conditioning ( they said to open the window...with all the noise from the street !! ), very small breakfast area ( room to small for all the guests ), very noisy you can ear the people next door.
