“Perfect spot near airport...hospitality can't be beat.”

We stayed here twice during this trip because we had early flights out of the airport and late flights into the airport. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to store luggage with the hotel between our stays. The breakfast was a sumptuous feast! The hotel was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport. The city of Fiumicino is fun to explore.

Room Tip: There are Fiumicino CITY buses that can take you to and from the airport from the hotel. They are le...

“Pleasantly surprised...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

We stayed here only because of its proximity to the airport. After 2 weeks in Italy, finalizing the trip in Pompeii, we headed to Fiumicino. This hotel was much newer on the inside than the outside appears. Unfortunately, the elevator lift did not work when we got there (it was locked, so the staff assumed it was not working?), so we had to carry the luggage 3 flights, that was the only downside. The staff was friendly and the newly updated accommodations were very nice. We got there much earlier in the day than we had expected, so we took a walk towards town. This proved to be a good idea as we found a nice little outside cafe on the harbor with one of the best meals we had during our entire trip in Italy. The shuttle to the airport arrived on time and delivered us directly to the terminal. The one thing I found a bit odd about that, one - they charge for their shuttle service and two - the shuttle driver changed the price once we got to the airport. We were informed it was 10 euros to go, but he said 15. We didn't argue, just forked over the other 5, though it was irritating.

Room Tip: You can use the shuttle, but the taxi is the same or less than the cost of the shuttle (at least it...

“Affordable hotel at Rome airport”

I stayed at Euro House because it is reasonably priced and convenient to Fumicino airport in Rome. The staff was helpful and breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied, with more choices than in other Italian hotels. The room was comfortable and clean and there is free wifi.
You call the hotel directly for airport pickup which costs 10 euro per trip and the car arrives within minutes.

“a good choice with dependable airport access”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

Our choice for the last night of our stay was a good one The Euro House has a very dependable shuttle arrangement with a smile..immediate contact by cell phone and a fair charge of 5 euros per passenger. We came a day early to drop the rental car and hop the in airport express train to Rome. It drops you at the Terminal Station of the Metro from where all lines may be accessed. Easy return late that night and our shuttle was right there with a call.Rooms were all one might want as stated in previous posts...I found access to the WiFi a bit cumbersome but by no means a problem....It is a daily renewal at the front desk but frequently cut out and codes needed to be reentered each time.Good security for parking also on site. Breakfast was very nice but the espresso /cappuccino multi function beverage machine was not at all as good as we expect at breakfast.
Staff was helpful but seems to turn over at more frequent intervals than usual.
All in all we were satisfied.

“great last night in rome”

We stayed at euro house mainly because it was close to the airport for our flight back in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Our room was very clean, comfortable and the staff very helpful. We also lucked out as there was a great restaurant at the corner of the street. Our shuttle cost 10 euros, which was reasonable for the distance of the airport. The breakfast in the morning was also a bit of a surprise. Lots of fresh fruit and different choices for breakfast- excellent food. The girl that set up the breakfast was so friendly and welcoming.

Room Tip: we needed two beds, and got a great room with a pull out couch (that was in a totally seperate room...
