I have stayed here four times now and it never disappoints. Fantastic location at the junction of mekong and Mun rivers. The rooms are tastefully different from standard hotel rooms, and the staff are delightful. Added to these, the excellent food at the superbly positioned terrace restaurant make this one of my favourites anywhere in the world.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. While a bit expensive for Thailand, the food & service at the outdoor restaurant was excellent including the best breakfast buffet we saw in 3-weeks of traveling around Thailand. We were very satisfied with spa services as well. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Was very unimpressed with the hotel considering their rates. We were on a family holiday and prepared to spend a bit to be comfortable. But this hotel was expensive and the only thing that looked good quality was their website.
The hotel is tired and in need of a very expensive make over. The swimming pool was made of slippery blue tiles that my two boys both slipped on. Many of the files are cracked. The concrete edge around the pool is chipped and uneven.
The view from the outside restaurant is great (protect yourself for mosquitoes). But the restaurant is on stilts over the river with no wall / fence except for a water feature. Water feature = play for young children and so was very difficult to keep from relaxing whilst worrying about them not tumbling into the river.
Spa looked OK but Thai massage was 500 Bhat (£10) whereas a good massage at a 5 star hotel costs £5 - I think they are charging these prices because there is no competition around (you are in the middle of nowhere).
A lot of couples (old men and young Thai women) seem to find this a nice place to get away from it all - it probably is.
Service was good (everywhere in Thailand it is good).
Had booked to stay 3 nights. Left after the first. Don't be fooled by the hotel's website.

Just visited last weekend, and miss it already!
Was a 9 hours drive from BKK, so 3-days was definitely not enough!
All staffs were so friendly, despite working all day in different departments.
The decor stylish.
Authentic and delicious Thai food, though few selections in dessert :S Although, according to my friend, the coffee really needs improvement.
The rain made it so lush and pleasant to look out! So should visit during the rainy season.
Spa therapist was nice, love the smell of the home-made coconut oil!
Love to go back there again.
