I booked an overnight stay at the spa for our anniversary, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, (even though we had arrived early and our rooms were not ready). We were able to relax in the lounge and have a drink. The spa itself was excellent, we had a shoulder and back massage which was soooo nice, left us feeling relaxed and refreshed. The sauna/steam room/jacuzzi/etc, etc... was wonderful, so was the three course meal in the restaurant. The staff there were very polite and attentive, it seemed that nothing was too much to ask. The room we were in was warm and cosy, with huge windows overlooking the lawn.
The spa seemed close to the road and I was worried that we would hear the traffic, but we could not hear a thing from our room which was at the rear of the building.
Breakfast was nice, fresh orange juice, a variety of cereals and fruit and a variety of cooked options too. The only negative was that the coffee was not fresh (I like my coffee and know when its been on the warmer too long, but its a minor thing).
Would definitely recommend going there, and well done the staff!
Room Tip: Rooms at the rear have a nice view, especially at sunset.
