The castle and the surrounding grounds are beautiful. The hotel is absolutely sub standard. An slightly ugly building with unfriendly staff at the reception. The rooms are way too expensive for what you get. It seems that on top of that, that there is no sound proofing at all. One can hear the guests in the neighboring breathe. All rooms are along a long hallway and again: one hears everything Absolutely horrendous!!

The hotel is a new building extended from the existing "Orangerie" which belongs to the castle nearby. The rooms are decorated in a modern style, unfortunately the bathrooms are not of the same quality and are quite plain. In addition, some of the building material seems cheap.

Breakfast was for dutch standards good, you can sit outside in the sun. Unfortunately the furniture outside was still wet and nobody of the service personal tried to dry them up.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, food was very good and had a nice apperance. We had dinner at the old castle and not the Orangerie. This might have been a special ocation.

Different from what the hotel description on several websites says the hotel is not at all located in an old castle. Well, there is a castle some hundred meters away but it has nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel itself is a quite ugly building thta looks more like a supermarket building. Breakfast is ok, but really nothing special. TV has really bad quality.
