“Stayokay Soest to the rescue!”

After a mess up with a ferry booking, I had the terrible situation of a group of 50 people needing somewhere to stay for an extra night in Holland. I rang StayOkay Haarlem as we had stayed there 2 weeks previously, and because they were full they put me through to Soest. The girl on reception was initially stunned at the last minute request for 50 beds, but very quickly sorted it out for us. She was very helpful from start to finish, the hostel is lovely and good value for money. The members of the party (a brass band of mixed ages) found the walk to town very easy and found lots of places to eat. Those who ate at the hostel were very impressed, and the bar was good value and service. Breakfast was basic but good, and the surroundings have made me go back sometime... on a planned visit though! We got the ferry the next day no problem having spent a few hours in nearby Amersfoort.

One of the nicest and quiestest stayokay, in a beautiful surrounding (sand dunes near Utrect, not too far from Amsterdam either, ideal for nature lovers and families. The staff is helpful and friendly, the food is excellent. The place is clean & safe. They have a nice playroom for children and a good bike rental service.renovated
