This is a lovely upscale restaurant and delightful small hotel in a tiny town in a forest, with beautiful grounds, garden and patio
The quite formal restaurant had fantastic food, dress up to feel comfortable (most all men in ties and/or jackets), naturally quite pricey but delightful, worth it for a special and very romantic meal
Large pretty rooms with big bathroom, ours had a private deck with table and chairs overlooking the garden
Very helpful and welcoming staff, very friendly even when we arrived on our touring bicycles in bike clothes: true hospitality!
Warning - breakfast not included, and very overpriced (no-one in dining room); also hotel seems to host many small meetings and business groups - but romantic atmosphere seemed perfect for weddings or parties too - and for us, a couple on an off-the-beaten-track vacation
Town is Dutch tourist - on main street there were multiple touristy restaurants, all closed when we were there (read: plan on dinner at the hotel)- we were the only non-Dutch people we encountered.
