I stayed here in july with 8 other girls. The area was great as we did not want to be slap bang of san antonio, si we did not mind the 10 minute walk into town.
Rooms were basic but ok and spacious.
Food. was great considering 3 star, plenty of choice and variation
Music at pool was good and pool area was spacious and clean.
Staff at reception were a bit rude but maybes ad we were quite loud at times.
Nice place to get head down would recommend

We spent the last week in September here with my mum and sister who had been before. To be honest I wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised.
After reading reviews I had emailed the hotel asking to be put on a high floor and we were allocated a room on the 4th floor overlooking the large pool.
As it was later in the season we had no problems with noise from people returning in the early hours but the walls were quite thin so you could hear people talking in the next room.
The rooms are basic but adequate - our room had two double beds whereas my mum's only had single beds. You have to pay for a remote control to use the small tv which is on a shelf, which I've never come across before so we didn't bother.
The food was better than I expected for all-inclusive, especially the salad bar. It was quite easy to avoid the chips and we loved the breakfasts. We didn't use the snack bar so can't comment on that.
We stayed by the smaller pool and didn't have any problems getting sunbeds.
Drinks including cocktails were all out of bottles so not pre mixed as has been mentioned before.
The staff were all pleasant and helpful - we didn't see anyone with a grumpy face so I'm not sure about previous comments on this.
All in all a relaxing stay that was inexpensive and a good location - we walked into San Antonio Town once (which was enough!) and were glad we were in the Bay area.

My husband and I had a great break at the Bergantin staff very nice food good all inclusive drinks good entertainment was the usual hotel stuff but we had a good few good nights mainly because of the great bunch of holidaymakers there at the time Hotel is near the beach and restaurants and bars would recommend this hotel to my friends and would return in the future the only thing I suggested would be a microwave in the dining room as the food tends to get cold quickly. The hotel was only half full when we were there and it was great, I dont think I would like to go in the busy season.

I have just returned from 7 nights at the Bergantin hotel. I went with my husband, parents, sister and her partner so there was 6 of us in total. The hotel is good for a three star better than what i was expecting. The rooms are clean and spacious although the other two couples had two double beds my husband and I had two single beds so I guess its luck of the draw! the pool was freezing but clean and there was plenty of sun beds though we did go at the end of the season and the hotel was only half full. The food is great, buffet breakfast lunch and dinner and the snacks by the pool. The only complaint we had was the restaurant is not set up for families as there are only a couple of tables for 6 people and the rest are for 4 and you can not move the tables or the hotel manager will threaten to remove you from the hotel! I have since put a complaint in to Thomas Cook about this as we expected to eat together as a family so just watch that if there are a few of you going. Overall I was happy with the hotel and it wasnt as noisy as I'd expected although you need to remember you are in Ibiza so if you are looking for total silence then this hotel is not for you though I am a light sleeper and didnt have any problems. you get what you pay for!
