The Tagomago is a great little hotel with a charming character suitable for families and older couples. The staff are friendly and helpful. We couldn't manage to get a seaview room and our parents room was nicer, however, all the rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day. The food for breakfast and dinner was excellent, spoilt for choice.The swimming pool and patio area is a nice place to have a drink, chat and relax. There is a lovely safe beach on the doorstep and you can feed the fish off the little jetty, there is another nice beach a short walk away towards San Antonio. You can get the little ferry or take a nice stroll into San Antonio.

First time at the tagomago after reading some of the reviews we went with a open mind. We were very pleased to have ignored the bad ones and given this hotel a go, what a lovely traditional spainish hotel! The rooms were spotless towels changed every day and room cleaned, beds changed on request just leave ur make up room sign on your door, food was lovely full english every morning as well as all sorts of other things, dinner was something different every night. All staff lovely and friendly not many hotels that you will see the owner helping clear plates away in the dinning room morning and night! The location is spot on just a 20-25 min walk to all the big night life but plenty on your doorstep in both directions as well. The pool is lovely with penty of space around it but if u want the beach its right on your doorstep and theres 2 to choose from, both are lovely. If you dont fancy the walk into san antonio theres a water taxi that leaves just down from the hotel 2.50 euros each one way and your there in 5mins! Theres alot of people who stay here who go year after year and they really make you feel welcome whatever age you are! we asked for a middle floor room with a sea view and thats what we got, we did have road on one side of us but this wasnt a problem for noise at all, they have great green shutters on the doors and when these are shut you can hardly hear a thing. You can hire safes fridges kettles and microwaves at reception all at a decent price, plus the bar prices arnt bad either quite alot cheaper than some of the pubs! All in all we were there for 9 days and we didnt want to come home so thakyou to lewis pepe miguel christina and all the very friendly cleaners for a great holiday, we will be back!!

We have stayed at this hotel twice this year (July & September) due to its location. Yes the hotel is dated (traditional), yes the hotel is only 2 star...however it doesn't claim to be anything else! The staff are lovely including the cleaners who always said hello (with a smile). Rooms are cleaned daily, bar prices are cheap, lovely location, 2 beaches directly outside the hotel and you DON'T have to eat the food there should you not want to. Book room only! There are plenty of eateries and bars around! Sa Flama (the restaurant on the beach next to Tagamago) is delightful...20 min walk from the centre of town...2 minute swagger/stagger/stroll/ to the nearest bar! As to the reception staff refusing to order a taxi...RUBBISH! We asked, politely, and hey presto we waited 10 minutes in July and 5 in September (this is Peak Season). Overall a lovely, but basic, hotel...but who cares? You're on your jollies and all you need is somewhere to sleep and somewhere to wash/shower/bathe. I, personally highly recommend this hotel, but who am I to judge? Going to Ibiza? Stay at the Tagamago and judge for yourself...you may well be pleasantly surprised!

The hotel is in San Antonio Bay, away from San Antonio centre but in a good location, a water taxi is on your doorstep to take you across the bay if you can't face the 15min walk, you step out of the hotel pool area onto a small beach or turn right onto a road full of pubs and shops that stay open all hours.Only one floor of the hotel has air con so if this is a priority confirm at time of booking, the rest of the rooms have ceiling fans.The rooms were cleaned daily and are in a good condition.Some outside noise from those coming home from a night in the clubs but overall no probs.
