Expected the noise as we were right next to Eden!! So the location was fantastic!! However walls were paper thin and the rooms were disgusting, had stains on the walls, can only describe the bath as being painted! Would have got to sleep better on the floor, all the beds were broken!! Security was also none existent!! I left everything in my case with 2 locks on under the bed, heard so much about things being stolen!! Would not go back!!

Ignore the bad reviews on here! I am mid thirties but still love to party, after reading the reviews on here, we were dreading staying at the marco polo, but it was within our budget. We arrived at about 7pm expecting the worst, but were very pleasantly surprised. Yes the rooms were very basic, but it was clean, the air con worked and there was hot water. The pool was clean, quiet, and a lot better than we were expecting. We had no problems with noise, in fact, we had to try and create our own parties!! In short, if you are looking for a cheap clean hotel within a stones throw of the beaches and some of the best clubs on the island, stay at the marco polo. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Read some awful reviews on here and with me and my friends being late 20's we were dreading it (I wouldn't of cared less a few years ago) when we got there in the middle of the night we had to check in the marco polo 1 which was a nightmare due to the receptionist stefan!! He was rude and even tho it clearly had our names on the check in papers he was so reluctant to give us our keys as we had no voucher printed from the net! Once we finally sorted it we went to our rooms, they wasn't bad at all. Don't get me wrong I've stayed in alot better but for the money it was perfect. Rooms were clean, tidy and the shower was actually very good and we only slept in it so what do you want? None of us had problems with things going missing from the room or noise in the hotel. We never had our room cleaned but that was our fault as we were never up in time.
We had an amazing time, prob wouldn't go back but that's only because we feel were prob too old and were going to get a Villa next year but for the younger one for the money it's perfect
