“Good value for money, but take food with you!!”

The pacific hotel was overall okay. At night it was hard to get a decent nights sleep but most of the people there are going for a party holiday so it was to be expected. Some of the staff were aggressive and mostly unhelpful to the point you were practically doing their job for them. If you do make noise during the night when you get in the staff wont hestitate to tell you off like school children haha!
We had problems with hot water and every night we had cold showers, the handy man who reception sent to fix the taps couldnt speak any english and didnt actually understand the problem so in the end we had to persavere all week. In the canteen and lunch menu there was always plenty of choice, it just wasnt cooked properly and made us ill on several occassions (so id avoid it if you can).
All the rooms and facilities were clean...
If you are after a sun lounger then get up early! we were too hungover every day to get up past 11, so ended up on our towels on the floor each day, it wasn't ideal.
Overall though, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach and west end, we thoroughly enjoyed it..just dont go expecting luxury cause you wont get it :) it was great value for money and i would probably go again.

Lovley hotel great location only 5 mins from the West End. It is also far enough from the West end so its quiet enough to go sleep at night the only noise you really get is people coming back in the hotel from going out. The swimming pool is a nice size but does tend to get busy during the day as there is only so many sunbeds. The food is nice basic but there is always something for everyone. The staff are really nice and when we arrived there last year
(Aug 2011) the woman on reception remember us which i thought was really nice. As we was unpacking we had a knock on the door it was one of the staff with a bowl of fruit for us which I was so nice. The night before we were due to go home we went out for our lastnight in town when we got back to the room and there was a tray with food for the morning as we was leaving before breakfast i thought this was such a nice touch i dont know if it was beacuse this was our fourth time in the hotel or it was just something new the hotel starting doing as the last three times before when we had stayed in the hotel we never recived any of this. We have just booked up for July this year really cant wait now.

Brilliant hotel, lovely pool, would recommend to everyone, stayed here twice and would stay again, excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the beach, and the strip. Value for money, food is good.
Will definitely be returning!

This hotel has to be the worst I have ever stayed at!!! The staff are so rude and very aggressive when they decide they don't like you. We stayed here at the height of the season but the hotel not only evicted us but another two parties all in the same day due to noise.

They claimed this was due to noise, however we didn't even have music in our room!!! If you choose to stay here, please be very careful of upsetting staff as they will take extreme measures for something you may have not even done!

The hotel is based on half bored, its right by the "egg" in San Antonio but quiet enough to get a great night sleep. Its very cheap with air con tv immaculately clean rooms and very very comfertable. the only thing is the food not 10 out of 10 but its ok. All in all this is the best value for money hotel in San An with a great location
