Me and my sister stayed in a normal room (not apartment) in Hotel Rivieria and couldn’t fault a thing! The staff were all really friendly and reception was staffed 24 hrs. The hotel had loads, two big pools and had lots of sun loungers. There’s a bar, lounge area, pool tables, games and computers with internet access. The room was perfect, extremely clean, nice bathroom, big enough with plenty of mirrors for getting ready The room had a safe, it’s 3 euros a day with a 5 euro deposit. I definitely agree with the review below, the air conditioning is worth it and only 10 euro deposit. The room was cleaned every day and loads of fresh towels provided. Have to say, the hotel was really clean – I’ve stayed in a few hotels in the same price/ rating range and this hotel was far above any other I’ve stayed in. There were families, couples, small groups and larger groups and it had a good atmosphere, nobody was really rowdy. I would probably agree with the review below about families with young kids, it might be a bit loud at night although I’m not sure you’ll fine a hotel in San Antonio/ San Antonio Bay that isn’t a bit noisy. Compared to other hotels in San Antonio that I’ve stayed in, this was quite.
The hotel is in a good area, loads of bars and restaurants outside the hotel and the beach is less than two minutes away. The main part of San Antonio with the west end is quite a way though, about 15 - 20 minutes walk. You can walk from the beach just outside the hotel along about 5 different little beaches, all the way to the main part of San Antonio so there are loads of beaches to choose from. You can also walk along the road which is almost parallel to the beach, through a few clusters of bars and restaurants. I wouldn’t suggest walking this to small groups of girls in the night before/ after night out, although there are bars along the way there are areas that are a bit disserted. There’s also a ferry boat only 3 euros. Getting to San Antonio in the night can be a bit of a nightmare, you pretty much have to flag down a taxi as the hotel won’t ring one after 6pm (absolutely the only negative about the hotel, if there had to be one) – just be patient and on the strip outside the hotel and you will get one. Tip – don’t try walking up to the bus stop at night either – you have to walk up an even more disserted road and the bus stop is on a busy road with pretty much nothing on it.
So, great for the day time bit of a trek for the night (although all depends on where you’re going out) but if I go to Ibiza again I would definitely stay there
