When we first arrived at the hotel the coach dropped us on the main road next to a building site, my heart sank as this was the 1st faily holiday we had abroad. We had to walk down the hill and checked in with a very happy and helpful receponist. We walked thorugh the pool area to our room which was very clean and exactly what we were expecting considering this was a nice cheap holiday. Our apartment was above the bar which had live music everynight.
The sofa bed in our apartment we slept on was very uncofortable and broke during our stay! I was very disapointed to discover the kids club (provided through our travel agent) had left the week before! However we were able to visit a neighbouring hotel in the evening for the kids mini disco. The beach is on the doorsep to this hotel but very rocky and in my opion not suitable for children. Follow the coast for 10 minutes and there is a stunning little beach used by the locals with a bar which serves food.
There are plenty of bars, shops and supermarkets within waliking distance, most evenings we would visit The Mad Cow which was great value for money and a bouncy castle for little ones.
We hired a car for the day which was a reasonablec price and travelled to the waterpark, Evissa and Portonix at the very top of the island. (This was cheaper then doing an excursion.)
We enjoyed catching the boat aross to San Antioni and this was around 7euros per adult. We loved Cafe Mambo and this is the best place to see the famous Ibiza sunset, we sat on the beach and ordered drinks from the bar.
My children throughly enjoyed their holiday and we were able to relax around the pool knowing they were happy.
This is a great value for money holiday but not for those looking for a bit of luxury.
