“Great Hotel, entertainment staff lack manners!”

Myself and my 2 kids went on there first trip abroad, cant fault the location of the hotel and actual hotel itself, its cleaned regularly to a high standard, food is also good, wide variety especially for the little ones which helps picky kids which mine are. The pools i would have to say are the best part for kids, The children's pool that has been built was the best thing ever, entertained my 2 endlessly and i have to say i enjoyed also going on both water slides with them. Laying by pool was also handy as you knew they was safe as water not that deep that you felt they would drown in. The only one thing i felt that did let this hotel down was the entertainment staff, they had there favourite's that were either already at the hotel before you arrived or if you stayed up to early hours of the morn then to be honest you didn't get a look in which did upset my two who felt abit left out when they was around the hotel in the day and then again on a night. Also make sure that you have money with you when in the hotel as although its all inclusive there are still things that you need money for, as in things for adults and if the kids want to join in with some of the Kids Club entertainment then that costs which i feel is well shocking, as the point of kids club i'm sure is to entertain kids not to pay for the entertaining off them! Will try going back one day just to see if things have changed for the better.

Room Tip: Has to be low floor and in middle hotel over looking the adults pool, or the kids pool as the views...

“Very nice hotel for our June 2011 girls holiday”

I stayed at the Tanit (for the second time - first with family in 2010) with two girlfriends from the 24th June - 2nd July 2011.
For what we wanted, it was perfect. We went as soon as we finished our exams and was just looking for a nice all inclusive hotel that had a good selection of food and drink as well as a nice relaxing pool/beach area for day time and clubbing at night.
I said in my review last year that the food and drink at the Tanit was very varied and there was a huge selection to choose from. Nothing changed and was impressed again this year. A tip for meal times - we always sat in the outside eating area which is much less noisy than the dining all and is quite relaxing and chilled out. The drinks were excellent and we could drink until the bar closes and then head into San An for the clubs and bars. We got Taxis there and back which were no more than 8 euros a go.
Tip for people without young kids - the adult pool is gorg. There is a large main pool that is way overcrowded and not really worth it, then just around the corner there are two other pools and a jacuzzi. This area is large and there was always plenty of sunbeds to choose from. This pool area is so pretty and peaceful - there was only ever noise if the reps played football in the sports court next door. Right next to these pools there are the steps down to one of the most prettiest beaches I've seen! (It is where The Wanted filmed a music video by the way for anyone interested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ggzxInyzVE) This area is gorgeous, sunbeds are pretty cheap. A short swim around the rocks on the right of the beach takes you to an even smaller beach where the water is absolutely crystal clear and you can feed the fish which was amazing!
Overall the Tanit was lovely again, the room and balcony was great (we didn't book sea view so overlooked bins and the back of Fiesta Hotel Cala Gracio, but there was lovely views of the hills and part of the sea where we got to see the beautiful sunset). It was exactly what we wanted and we were very happy with our holiday.

Room Tip: Book sea view! Stunning

“Great hotel for families”

We were given this hotel as an upgrade as our original booking for half board at the Hotel Fiesta Milord was cancelled due to the hotel owner closing earlier than planned, and as the Tanit was offered on an All-Inclusive basis we found it hard to refuse, plus i had stayed at this hotel back in 1995 and knew the area. Our stay here was at the end of October (19/10/11 - 26/10/11) for our daughters birthdays. Its in a nice quiet location away from the hustle and bustle that you'd most likely encounter from the main resort of San Antonio, yet its within 30 mins walking distance from the town, and even has 2 very nice beaches / coves only a stones throw (approx 50 mtrs) from the hotels grounds.
The entertainment staff were fab, and were great with the kids. Plenty of things to keep the youngsters occupied !
Accomodation was clean and tidy and the hotel staff came around on a daily basis to clean rooms, make beds, etc.
The food in the restaurant was varied and catered for all tastes. One thing i did notice however was that whenever there was any chocolate 'gateaux' cake on offer it wouldn't take long for it to disappear.
There's a nice swimming pool for the kids with a novelty waterfall created by a large bucket which fills repeatedly and then randomly empties itself out onto the pool area, the kids loved this.
Views of the sunset at night from the hotel are awesome, and you're only a 5 min walk to bars like Cafe Mambo and Del Mar (prices are quite high here, so beware).
We plan to return to Ibiza again in the near future !

Room Tip: Its the luck of the draw, but if you can get a sea view then the sunset at night is a fab sight !

I loved this hotel as it seemed so clean and fresh... everyone was helpful, the all inclusive was amazing if you like eating and drinking all the time, the rooms are huge and have everything you could want. Will be going back one day.

Room Tip: Go al inclusive

“Good food, good drinks and that's it!”

Well this was a last minute holiday for my partner and I for October half term. We booked flights separately but I think for the hotel for both of us all inclusive we paid £400 for 2 weeks. On arrival reception was nice and our room was nice (had better and worse). The whole hotel is very clean no complaints there. Food brilliant just what you need and the vodka, lime and lemonade did me fine. This hotel would be perfect for the money apart from 2 problems......

The first problem is kids they scream all day and all night I know it's Ibiza but give it a rest. I know it's not the kids fault but parents letting kids run round screaming at 7.30am is taking the Mick out of other childless guests. At 22 years of age we watched parents of all stages of parenthood struggling to control their kids.

The second problem is the thin walls. I would go as far to say that if the guest next door were to break wind I would be able to hear them. I couldn't relax all holiday and by night 6 my partner and I needed a break from the child next door. This child screamed at all hours. The other disadvantage is when the maid starts cleaning she loves dragging beds and chairs across the floor. At 1 point I was going to complain to reception.

So if you have kids that rule your whole holiday Hotel Tanit is fantastic because they rule the whole hotel.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a sea view room may mean you have less neighbours.
