Having been to Ibiza many times before, we always chose a cheap 2 star hotel but this time we are a little bit older and wanted somewhere much nicer. We weren't expecting much for Spain and the 4 star rating. We did read many reviews and this seemed to have the best ones for our 4 star budget without wanting to spend over £200 per night at a place like the Pacha hotel. Me and my partner went and we stayed half board, all we can say is that you couldn't fault it, the place was clean, the room was big, larger than most places we've stayed in and we do travel quite a bit. We liked the fact that the room had a sofa (which pulled into a bed) with a cooker, toaster, kettle, sink, fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer, free air con (which worked) a safe which you had to pay for, the bathroom was clean and so was the room up to good standards with 2 twin beds put together. We had a balcony facing onto the street but you could also have a room with a balcony facing the pool area. The pool was nice and quiet with mostly couples staying there, no roudy youngsters. You didn't need to bring beach towels as you pay 15 euros each and you get a fresh beach towel each day, then they refund you the money at the end of your holiday. You had free internet and there was some hotel entertainment , we saw a magician which was good. The staff were very pleasant. The food was average, not fantastic, but good enough to eat and plenty of choice and the best thing was they gave you a complimentary drink with dinner and that included a bottle of wine for the 2 of you! You can't beat that. For breakfast you had toast, croissants, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, boiled/fried/scrambled eggs, baked beans and other hot bits to choose from. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel. It is an ideal location for the sun set bars, 5-10 mins walk. We won't be staying at another 2/3 star hotel in Ibiza.

Went over to ibiza with friends and family.. we were in ibiza for 1week we spent 5nights at the gran sol which is across the road from the blau park. and stayed in the blau park for the last two nights.

Every time we entered the hotel we were made to look like we were sneaking in, the staff were very rude all he time, at one point they chased us shouting get out!!!!!! not good as we paid a few hundred euro for the two nights.. the room was dated has a small kitchen attatched to it..it looked dirty ans we never used it.. we paid for a double but we got 2 singles pushed together!!! the day bar by the pool was expensive and took along time to get a drink.. though i have to say the RECEPTION STAFF ARE BY FAR THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE, I HATED IT SO MUCH.
The room we had pre booked wasnt ready and it was after 3pm and they gave us a different one that are name wasnt regestered to. i hated it.

We booked this hotel via Travel Republic. We found out hotel reservation was not made when we arrive hotel at 1AM, and shattle bus pick up time was wrong, Phone cuctomer service is slow and eventually hung up without answering. So we couldnot get a room and pay 100EUR to stay another 2stars hotel!! . I am asking to money back and compensation to Travel Republic however I ve never get any response/apology anything from them. Hotel was good but all this travel agent mistakes caused so many stress.

I stayed with friends in July 2010. We arrived early hours of the morning and were pleasantly surprised with two plates laid out with sandwiches, fruit and yoghurts with two bottles of mineral water laid out for us.

The rooms are a good size and have everything you need, coathangers, iron, hairdryer, mini toiletries, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster etc - we wished we had gone self catering as there is a supermarket less than 100m away. The air con was not great and a litle noisy but did not spoil our time.

Def worth paying a bit extra for the sea view - it is amazing with the Ibiza sunset. I think anywhere you go in a place like San An / Ibiza you should expect it to be noisy but I can honestly say that the only night it was hard to get to sleep because of the noise was the night when Spain won the world cup so I cannot complain as the location is great, just close enough to walk to all the sunset bars and west end etc but far enough to be quiet enough at night.

Plenty of sunbeds, clean pool which was the perfect temperature. The maids replaced all the towels every day, washed up any dishes and left the room spotless.

Now for the food.....the first breakfast consisted of green runner beans! - runny scrambled eggs, cold beans, cold fried egg, warm orange juice, and some strange looking possibly tinned sausages amongst tinned fruit and packets of cake. Dinner not much better, never hot and a very small selection. I would definitely recommend self catering there is everything in your room you would need with a shop nearby and plenty of other places to eat out at. Pool bar served nice lunches though.

All in all it is a clean hotel in a good location and I would go back.
