Stayed here for just one night after 2 night stay in Cadiz. Had seen signs for hotel before and it all seemed ok on hotel website when I booked it but I was suprised how big & well situated the hotel was. Had wanted to stay at Fuerte but they have minimun nights stay. Allocated room on 3rd floor opposite the main part of the hotel.
Lift up to third floor which was useful with the cases, room was light & airy & well tastefully decorated for a Spanish beach resort, lots of pastel blue & yellow colors. Beds were fine, small fridge/minibar on the floor. Plenty of wardrobe space.
Bathroom was perfectly fine, clean & roomy, shower was a bit all over the place though but plenty of hot water. Soap dispensers were not great so bring your own shampoo & shower gel. Nice balcony facing the main hotel & beach which was lovely. Pool towels are provided only between 11-7 and changed every 3 days !!! Pool area was really long & deep in places s excellent for a few lengths. It was not especially busy on my stay but I guess in high summer it must be mobbed. It seemed to be popular with German tour groups as there were a few TUI buses on site at times. Small in hotel chapel on the grounds too as well as small gym & tennis courts.
Breakfast was included in rate & was kinda good but a bit low quality. Rolls were not crusty and seemed a day or 2 old, cheeses & meats were a bit low quality too. Fruits were great as were the pastries & cakes - lots of choice. Hot breakfast items were very good special mention to the hot stuffed tomatoes. Tea, coffee, juices & hot chocolate & churros it was all there.
it is part of a Spanish chain Husa so it was well maintained , there always seemed to be a handiman or cleaner around doing odd jobs which is good Paid 68 euro for the night betwen 2 which I think is excellent value for the location by the beach. Ate at Restaurant Francisco La Fontanilla on Conil beach itself which was fab.
