We spent four nights here with a school orchestra of 41 students aged 12 to 19. They loved it. They were in the immaculately clean pool every day and couldn't get enough of it. The lifeguards were observant and kept good control of a busy pool - very reassuring for us anxious teachers. The students enjoyed the plentiful food and we all ate well - the range of food for breakfast was particularly impressive. The rooms were clean and well serviced with plenty of fresh towels daily. Receptionists were outstandingly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff were very friendly and when I knocked over and smashed a full glass of wine on the bar it was replaced instantly for no charge. The security guards were a reassuring but unintrusive presence in the evening and all through the night - a particularly important issue for school parties. Our students made great friends with another school party staying there and jamming together on drums and guitars was one of the highlights of the holiday for the students. I would take our youngsters back there again without any question. When I asked them what they thought of the hotel, albeit only three star, they were unanimous that it was much better than they were expecting and they wished they were staying longer.

Note the pictures of the pool and it's view - that's all this hotel has going for it. Be glad it didn't show the 4 inch ring of green algae around the pool. Wall paper falling off the wall. Bed was like a table with a sheet on it. View was a wall from our room. View from pool was spectacular. TV was 10 inch. Food was average. Out of 5 hotels we stayed in over a 12 day trip, this was by far the worst!

I was with a large group of teenagers who had all been awake for 32 hours straight, having spent the day tramping around Verona. We were all tired and hungry and we got our room keys. The rooms we all got were very different to the photos we had seen on the website and the room I got was for three people. There was barely any room to move and the bathroom was tiny. There was no hairdryer, the TV was broken and the towels we had to dry oursleves with were no bigger than standard hand towels.
The food was also terrible. The staff were friendly but the food we got (The pasta in particular) was undercooked, not al dente. The Tiramisu tasted as if someone had poured an entire bottle of liquor on it.

To top it all off, there was another group of very rowdy drunks in the hotel with us (they were spanish) who ran around the hotel and the grounds climbing onto our balconies and knocking on doors yelling some very offensive things (though obviously this wasn't the hotel's fault)

As we all got into bed to go to asleep at 10 PM, an extremely loud disco started downstairs. It was 1AM before the thumping music stopped and none of us had been told about this.

DEFINITELY AVOID THIS HOTEL. Was a very unsavoury experience.

The room was spacious and clean but TV was broken,breakfast was good.
