I went here as part of a school trip and i was really disappointed. Everything that is complained about is true. The room we were in had damnaged wall paper and stains on the ceiling. But the worst thing was the smell. It stank so much it got to the point we were running straight through holding our breathe to the balcony. It was horrible. Also opposite our room people were having a party very late at night. they shone green lazers through our windows and played loud music. the pool was filthy, full of algae and disgusting. The only redeeming sde was the food which was good except the bread was totally stale. Very disappointing.

We wanted to surprise our three kids in the middle of our three-week trip to Italy with a day in Gardaland - Italy's version of Disneyworld (which is an awesome place!). There were no accommodations available at Gardaland, so our travel agent sourced this hotel. We were quite happy with it. They have two lovely pools, breakfast was included and lots of space for the kids to wander. It is conveniently located 10 minutes away from Verona (what a beautiful city!) and about 15 minutes away from Gardaland.

We were able to squeeze 5 of us in a room. This was fine for a couple of nights. I wouldn't recommend it for much longer than that, because it would start feeling too tight. But believe me, we were absolutely comfortable with two extra sleeping cots and our king-sized bed.

Breakfasts were great. All you can eat. And they had a lot to choose from, which surprised us.

I would stay there again.

I was a little worried about booking this hotel as some of the reviews were quite negative. I like good food and a lot of comfort and usually stay in 5 star hotels when I holiday with my family. What a great surprise; the food was excellent and plentiful, a starter of 2 types of pasta ( as much as you wanted) we had lots of hungry teenagers, this was followed by a buffet with plenty of fresh salad and vegetables with a choice of at least 2 meat dishes. I didn't try the sickly looking puddings but the kids seemed to enjoy. Breakfast was great too with eggs, bacon ham and cheese, fresh juice and coffee.
The rooms were a little cramped and as expected door knobs came of in your hand! However the shower worked well and the beds were comfortable ( that is if you were not a student - some of them got soft sinking camp beds ).
The swimming pool was warm with plenty of sun beds to go round and a view to die for.
I would definitely return to this hotel with a school group. There were at least 4 other groups in the hotel and some made more noise than others, we were so tired after our gigs we slept through the noise.
Staff were efficient and friendly especially the Tunisian head waiter. One of our students had a birthday whilst we were there and he did not hesitate to make the cake!

Recently spend a night at this hotel and I feel the urge to warn others from booking it. Everything about this hotel was disappointing and did not at all look like the photos on the internet. Only the pool area was nice but unfortunately we arrived to late to use it (pool closed at 19 o'clock) The condition and maintenance of the hotel was very poor and there was a bad smell in the halls and partially in the room. Breakfast was very cheap quality and there was very little to choose from compared to other hotels around Garda. And for some reason very loud hiphip-music was played in the restaurant during breakfast. The service in the reception and in general was slow and seemed indifferent about us. How this hotel managed to get 3 stars is a mystery...
