We booked this via KRAS in the Netherlands, and when we finally arrived at the address on the booking, we found out we were 'booked' in another fattoria. When we arrived there, we inmediately complained about the apartment, and asked if we could speak to management. Not only was the apartment placed in a former barn- remodeled into apartments, it was in the middle of no where, the walls were not the typicaly wide- the walls were very very thin- so it wasn't cool as usual in Italian houses.
Besides that we were placed on the 1st. floor, with neighboors above us, who were walking on a wooden floor, without carpet, so we could literally understand everything they were saying!
Below us was a family who liked to sit outside all evening, so we couldn't open the windows in the evening when we wanted to cool the rooms a bit, because we could literally understand what they were saying!
the furtiture (furniture?) was very old. Squeeking beds, and the pride of the apartments, the swimming pool, had plastic chairs, no cussions to sit on, and hardly any shade.
It was so terrible, we left after a week, booking the rest of our vacation elsewhere.
Thanks to KRAS, who didn't seem to care, and the management who 'was hardly available, and in the end didn't come up with a solution, this is a place from hell.

Well, it is in a lovely position, BUT not well maintained.....problems with lack of hot water, low water pressure, beetles etc,end of season feel,staff stacking garden furniture etc,needs a Good Clean Up!! and you are made to feel VERY AWKWARD if you dare to point out the shortcomings............other than that , watch out for the guys taking potshots on weekends!! They live there,apart from that ,it's great!!
