We were in Sicilia on August 2011. We stayed at the hotel Florio Park (4*). But it seems to be 3*.
The weather was fine and sunny. The sea was fine too, quiet and clean. The hotel area seems to be good, it's rather big. The location of the hotel is very comfortable. There is a bus to Palermo twice a day. The cost is nearly 5.30 euro. The airport Palermo is also near the hotel. It was a problem when we chose the hotel, but in fact it didn't disturb us.
The swimming pool of the hotel is deep and good. There is also swimming pool for children.
The hotel has its own send beach. There a lot of free deck-chairs and umbrellas near the swimming pool and on the beach.
As for disadvantages, the food isn't good enough. Breakfast was always the same. The range of fruits were really poor. The animation isn't varieable. And it was only in Italian or French. The staff didn't understand even simple English words (except on reception). Moreover, being late at this hotel is usual. All perfofmances, event and even dinners start with lateness.
But our whole inmression of the hotel is rather good. 4-(from 5).
The surrounding is really beautiful: picturesque view on the mountains and the sea.

The rooms were very dated and reminded me of a butlins holiday, We paid 25 euros each for the evening buffet, which was cheap chickens portions, legs and thighs, frozen chips, something that looked like chicken nuggets, cold vegetables selection. The fish risotto was not too bad. The desert was terrible. We were greeted when we went in the restaurant by a line up of entertainment staff who mumbled some words in italian and looked like they were about to be shot. Most the staff were miserable actually. There was no toilet roll in any of the toilets in reception or near the bar, no soap and none of the toilets locked, we sat outside for ages waiting to order drinks but gave up in the end and went in and ordered them. Breakfast in the morning was rubbish.The pool was good though and it was very handy for the airport apart from that it was pretty poor, which was a shame as it could be a nice hotel.

Nice quite hotel near the airport . Fit for old or children.

The price is much more than the quality you get .

We stayed here overnight on the 27th April on route to the UK. We found the hotel to be very relaxing and the staff were very helpful. Parking is private in the grounds of the hotel.
Rooms are comfortable and situated in small chalets in the grounds.
