We arrived on the Catamaran from Malta at about 9.00 pm. We had eaten (rather awful food) on the ferry, so just required an overnight to crash out before departing by car to Catania the next morning. We parked on the road outside without difficulty.

We were greeted by a smiling and helpful gentleman, who helped us with our luggage to our room. He spoke only Italian, but that was not an issue. The room was basic, but quite large. It was clean, and they even provided toiletries. The bath towels were larger than the Hotel Juliani in Malta could offer! The bed was not the most comfortable, and there was noise from the street below.

However, it served its purpose well. We were hoping for an early breakfast, so headed downstairs at 7.15am, to find it started at 7.30am. The same gentleman was again very helpful, providing coffee while he waited for the fresh bread rolls to arrive. We were on our way shortly after 7.30am.

This establishment earns a 4 star rating from me because the price was very reasonable and nothing was too much of a problem. Good overnight stop.

A very clean, centrally located hotel close to the beach with nice rooms and a good breakfast. The owner Mr. Caruso is very helpful ensuring that his guests have the best possible experience. Very good value for money. Will definiteley return. Stefan

I decided to go for a short stay at Pozzallo together with my family.I stayed at Mare Nostrun very near to the sea.It was a wonderful holiday helped by the generous Signor Franco and together with his son Enrico.I recommend the hotel as it is very clean and central.
He assisted us for a good drive to the vicinity of Pozzallo such as Modica,Raguza,Caltagirone,Piazza Armerina and others with a very reasonable price,
I will have more stays for sure in the future in his hotels.

Fantasic atmosphere, great located in the middle of the city-centre. Very easy to park the car and the most caring director of them all, Mr Caruso. Very helpfull!! It´s easy to park for free close to the hotel. and the hotel is located very, very close to swimming-opportunities so you really don´t miss a pool. The ocean is litterally 30 sec away. We´re definetey staying here when we´re in Pozzallo next time.
