I really dont have much to add to the other reviews, they have said it all but I want to add my thanks to the lovely staff that made all the difference to my stay. They were extremly helpful and friendly and I would return to the hotel just for them. The situation of the hotel was terrific, within walking distrance to everything, just a minute to the beach, a minute to the church and castle and loads of nice resturants around that did not break the bank and had wonderful food. The only thing I did not like very much was the price of the taxis around, they really charge way too much compared to other places. Thank you again lovely staff, you made our stay very enjoyable.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Otranto right next to the cathedral. The views from the roof terrace are stunning. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our bedroom was a good size and very well appointed. The bathroom was the best of our holiday, great shower, toiletries bathrobes and slippers!! Breakfast and evening meal were taken on the roof terrace. Breakfast was very good with a selection of hot and cold food buffet style. We ate here one evening and enjoyed the atmosphere although perhaps the menu is slightly overpriced. Parking is the only issue during July and August but there are options although somewhat costly.

We loved the location of the hotel. It was hard to find at first. If arriving on foot (we came from the train station), print a detailed map!

The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, with a balcony overlooking the sea and the main little pedestrian street of the old town.

The breakfast, served on the roof terrace, was very good and the view is excellent. We also liked the hot tub on the roof, a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset!
We spent two nights here on our honeymoon in Puglia and were very happy with the hotel, service and Otranto in general.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights from 26 June. From the moment we walked in the door we were made welcome. The room was very clean, the bathroom exceptional. The bed linen was changed several times during our stay, the towels daily and the bedroom tidied and the bed turned down at night. The staff on reception were exemplary, especially Francesca and Giuseppe and Marco. The evening meal was superb, Antonio the chef was so helpful, I have an intolerance to Wheat and he made me special dishes with wheat free pasta and spaghetti. The attention to detail was marvellous and Antonio came personally to make sure everything was OK and to our liking. Breakfast was on the top of the hotel and was what you would expect, fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juice, yogurt, ham, cheese and eggs, bread and lovely home made cakes, which my husband enjoyed. There was also a hot tub on the roof. We wanted to explore the coastline and Marco arranged a taxi for us to take us along the coast and bring us back. Nothing was too much trouble. Otranto itself is a really lovely town, very old and very interesting. A look round the Cathedral, built in 1088 and right next to the hotel is a must. The coastline is lovely and during the day just walking round the place is a pleasure. Everything closes in the afternoon, but after 5 pm everywhere comes alive and the shops stay open until well after 10 pm. We took a bus to Lecce which was really worthwhile. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, would stay there again with no hesitation. A real gem.
