The hotel is situated south of the city centre of Monopli and are mostly a place to stay. They have a restaurant and a bar (no Italian beer) with OK food and service. The hotel can also provide conference rooms if you need it. Aircondition in the rooms are centralised wich is no benefit for the customer. Rooms facing the raiway do suffer from the noise from the trains and this could be a problem if you keep your window open trough the night. Rooms facing away from the railway is quiet. The area is more or less industrial and allmost deserted at night. There are free wired Internett, just remember to ask for a cable. Rooms are clean, conveniantly big and nice.
The staff are allways helpful, but remeber that your English skills are probably much better than theirs.
I have used the hotel for business reasons trough several years and will stay there again in the future. I would not use it as a holliday hotel.
The name is Vecchio Mulino (The old Mill), but it is allmost nothing that reminds you about the origin of the name.
