Me and my girlfriend stayed here, It was quite rural and out the way but the little town of stezzano was full of character. the hotel was really nice inside a modern touch and the same can be said for the rooms... the cleanliness of the hotel was really good definitely amongst some of the best i have stayed at. The hotel bar is cozy and the general staff hospitality was great. The buffett breakfast was alright aswell.
The surrounding area of the hotel was a little bit different to what am used to going abroad... the little italian town of stezzano it was situated in i found really interesting especially the little walk to the middle of it.. there is like a square with fantastic architecture surrounding it. a few bars, resturants and deli's... we also found ourselves wondering off the beaten path and exploring the side streets and alleyways... that was towards one side of the hotel and on the other was a motorway, trainstation and a corn field so it was quite contrasting.. however me and my girlfriend decided to walk down the road on this side and came across a beautiful church.. full of religious murals and pictures that were intersesting. it was this side were we cought the train to lake como.. i would advise purchasing train tickets from the hotel reception as the station was quite derelict the journey took a few hours but was definatly worth it, it was mid october and the weather wasnt the best but i prefered it like that as the mountains were full of mist and the lake had a nostalgic feel to it. We also went to the neighbouring city of bergamo that was a lot more cultural and busy there are a lot more sights and places to go here we got there via a bus from the little square in stezzano and it only took 15 mins. the city was on a hill with a tram taking you up in 3 levels and the view from the top was magnificant not to mention a old castle and some classy places to eat.
Also have to mention if your looking to go out anywhere around the hotel as the town is quite religious a lot of places close early especially sunday but we did manage to find a little gem of a place called bubble gum, its open till late and was only a short stumble back to the hotel
