“A wonderful relaxing weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

Daphne's Club is a family-run concern where guests are immediately made to feel like family. It is situated a few yards from a lovely pebble beach with clear, inticing water. Our well-equipped self-catering room was very spacious and spotless, crisp bed linen on very comfortable beds and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony, surrounded by greenery and flowers. The highlight was the excellent breakfast, homemade bread and jams, farm eggs, real coffee. A very good idea for a week away from the bustle of the city.

“A really friendly and cozy place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

The Daphne Club is a great spend to spend a short holiday. The owners have really gone a long way to ensure that you feel at home.
It is very close to a nice beach (Sykia) that has pebbles and is clean but quite deep.
Although the building is quite old, it has been totally refurbished and the rooms are quite spacious and nicely furnished. The common lounge is a really great place to relax and socialize (they even have a choice of books in quite a few languages for visitors to read), and kids can find toys and games to pass the time. You will find for free quite a few things (sun umbrellas, beach chairs, bikes,...) that will make your stay more enjoyable.
Breakfast is a real treat! You can have a choice of organic bread, Greek sweet (tsoureki), fruit , etc. that are all of high quality.
The most important asset of Daphne Club is its people, since they really like what they do, and you can really feel that!

“Quaint little treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

Friends recommended this little treasure and we finally decided to visit. This family owned hotel is like home away from home; quiet, clean and comfortable. The rooms were nicely decorated, extremely clean and spacious. The beach is a short walk from the front steps of the hotel. The hotel provided beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, mats for the beach. It was kid-friendly; even the toys in the common area could be brought up the room. The library also had a nice collection of summer reading. The kitchenette had everything needed to prepare meals.

The town was a short walk away and had nice restaurants along the waterfront. The forest next door added to the natural charm and provided a place for short hikes.

We especially commend their commitment to the environment and appreciated the little/subtle reminders to conserve.

Room Tip: Patio on first floor; balconies on second - choose the balcony.

“Greek Hospitality at it's Best!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2010

"I highly recommend "Daphne's Club" for your Corporate events and/or Training & Development programs. I recently conducted a training seminar / workshop to the Account Management Department of Ales Groupe and we were all so much delighted from the highest levels of Greek hospitality, professionalism and "personal touch". "Daphne's Club" so uniquely blends a "like being home" environment with highest levels of professional services and a socially responsible "green" atmosphere that is depicted in the overall decoration, atmosphere, bio meals and smiles of the staff. Greek hospitality at it's best and at a fraction of the cost required by other venues - highly recommended!"

“Fantastic break from reality with excellent hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2010

Impressed by the daily homemade organic breakfast, the cupcake treats, and the iced coffee (forget the exact name) was amazing! Thought the hotel was extremely well kept, the rooms & common areas were very clean and the staff was extremely accomodating of all of our annoying requests we made throughout our stay (thank you!). We felt so at home there, especially while enjoying the roof top terrace all to ourselves! They let us borrow bicycles for a bicycle ride around town, which was a great way to explore the area. Having the sea so close was fantastic to get a daily swim in. The sea & beach area were clean and the water is friendly for the not so experienced swimmer (I know because I swam everywhere!). Plenty of great (quality food) restaurants pretty close by with a great evening vibe. Most the tourists are Greek, so don't feel like you're still in Britain, and still able to get by using English just fine. Went on a day trip excursion which we would have never found without the help of Daphne. It was a great way to add some culture to our seaside holiday! Definitely a must stay, and I hope to go back next year = )
