I have stayed here many times, and have always found the service excellent. This is a very friendly, family run hotel that I would recommend to anyone.

Having stayed at Glasl's many times, I can say with assurance that it is one of the most pleasant and refreshing hotels in Bavaria, in my opinion. Rooms are spacious, service is impeccable and attentive, and the breakfasts are delicious to the point of creating lasting memories associated with smiles. It is worth a side trip or detour to travel to the quiet village of Zorneding to experience Glasl's.

Although we specifically requested a room with a shower and our confirmation listed our room as having a "shower" we received a room with a tub and shower head. No tub mat, no non-slip stickers, nothing except a flimsy shower curtain. My 20 year old daughter slipped badly and cracked her forehead open, requiring 9 stitches. The doctors warned to watch out for a concussion. She had multiple horrible bruises. It was awful. We had to cancel our flights and trip to Berlin the next day, but Glasl's couldn't accommodate us so we had to find somewhere else to stay. We incurred a lot of expenses with the doctors, ambulance, last minute cancellations, etc and Glasl's has refused to help us with any of these costs. Their insurance company claims that their bathrooms are "in accordance with the legal requirements." I give Glasl's a very poor rating for the horrible way they handled this situation and treated us.

Glasl's Landhotel offers a glowingly friendly staff, free wireless internet, great lobby bar, clean, comfortable rooms, a great sauna and, truly, all the amenities an American traveler could ask for. The best part -- rates decidedly lower than rival hotels. It's a ways outside the city center (roughly 25 euro cab ride) but close to the convention center. Everyone on the staff speaks English. This is common in German hotels, but the innkeeper was one of the nicer hosts i've met in all my travels. Highly recommended!
