This little gem is located just outside Munich in Ottobrunn, Germany. Quiet, very nicely appointed rooms and extremely clean. We arrived very late,got our key from the key box and were astonished by how nice the rooms were. Bathrooms were in-suite and had all we needed. Comfortable, quiet and clean! The price is fantastic. Herr Schuller was the perfect host and helped us make our train arrangements into Munich for the Christmas Market the next morning and provided us two excellent German family restaurants within a short driving distance . The S-bahn train is less than 200 meters away, a nice walk to stretch your muscles after a good nights rest and the fantastic breakfast offered. And my goodness, what a fine German breakfast.The savings here, are well worth staying on the outskirts of Munich and taking the train in. The S-7 takes you directly in and no need to changes trains, if you are going downtown. Pride in ownership definitely shows in this small family owned establishment. My wife fell in love with Drei Rosen and we will be stopping in again this spring to visit with Herr and Frau Schuller. Herr and Frau Schuller are definitely congenial and welcoming hosts. So if you are visiting Munich, looking for great place to stay, and really want to experience Germany the 'right' way, Hotel Drei Rosen is for you!!! Danke' Herr and Frau Schuller....
