My wife and I stayed here for one night in early July. More specifically, my brother-in-law's wedding reception was held here; afterwards, we spent the night here.
The location is beautiful: you're in the midst of rolling green hills with views of the mountains. The beergarden and terrace are very inviting; in fact, we spent several hours there, both in the evening and at breakfast.
The food is excellent. During the gourmet 4-course dinner at the wedding reception, we enjoyed a wide variety of top-notch dishes with an emphasis on regional ingredients. The restaurant goes out of its way to serve meat and other dishes which are organic.
We were very comfortable in our room and had no trouble sleeping until 9.30 am. My parents-in-law, however, told us that the carpeting in their room was unsatisfactory. I suggest you inspect your room immediately after checking in to ensure everything meets your expectations.
All in all, we were extremely happy at Landhotel Moarwirt and would recommend it to anyone seeking a rural oasis fairly close to Munich.
