We booked this trip last minute and found this b&b and gite. From reviews it sounded good so booked for our family of 5. We had the gite and from the moment we arrived Victoria and Richard could not do enough for us. The gite was lovely and the gardens (many acres) had enough space for children to run about and play.
Although we did not sample the food offered to B & B guests, it looked and smelt very good.
Greatest attraction for my 9 year old was the owners 14 week old kitten!! He had a great time playing with her.
The garden was so peaceful, the only noise was the odd quack and cluck from the chicken pen,and the odd noise from the farm next door. So relaxing to sit and do nothing.

This is a grat place to stay if you're going to Domfront. The service is great, Richard, the owner is a great host. Since he's English, communication is not a problem, even if your french is bad or not existing. The only "disadvantage" is that you really should have a car when you're staying there, since it is a few meters out of town.

The house is also great, the room ("Magnolia") was spacious and clean, the garden and the lounge perfect to relax. WiFi is available and free (a bit weak but still usable) on the 3rd floor. The best things are the little things. We went there for a french wedding and without even asking, Richard offered to extend breakfast time for the day after. I can't think of more to expect.

Impressive property located in substantial well maintained grounds/ land on the edge of pretty Domfront. Victoria greeted us warmly and after a quick tour kindly offered us (English) tea which came with tasty lemon madeira cake (I can't guarantee everyone will get it, as we were the only guests at the time!). We stayed in the Juniper room at the front of the property with lovely views over a courtyard and countryside. Room and en-suite (with freestanding bath) both very spacious. There is a large, shared lounge area with TV for use by guests. Breakfast was good and this was the only B & B out of six visited during our trip around Normandy where we were offered an egg, cooked as required. All rooms clean and tidy.

We stayed for 3 nights whilst house hunting. Really convenient location, about 3 minutes drive from centre of Domfront, which is a very pretty medieval town. The room, Rose, was excellently fitted out, with a luxury bathroom and perhaps the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. We don't usually do B&B, but we really enjoyed our stay. The owners, Richard and Victoria, could not do enough to make all guests feel at home. Food was excellent, espeically the scrambled eggs, provided most kindly by the chickens who live next door. All in all a delightful stay.
