I had booked this hotel for a stopover on our way back from Aveyron. We booked a family room and our son's bed was broken. We were moved to another room got ready for bed and discovered the slats on the bottom of our daughter's bed were broken. There were only enough towels for 2 and the bathroom plug was broken. The room was far too warm. I would never stay here again.

When we arrived after 7 hours of driving, we thought oh oh ... looks a bit shabby. But our room (311) was clean, and large enough for 2 adults, 2 kids and a 4 month old baby. Apart from being bitten by a mosquito on the first night (which is now squashed on the wall - sorry) our 6 nights there were great.

The staff are fantastic, the restaurant has great food and wine, and everyone is very kiddie friendly. While I was at a conference, my wife took the kids to the local park and mall and were very happy. There are a couple of restaurants opposite too.

And despite loads of business people staying, we never felt out of place, the vibe is relaxed and as mentioned the staff were friendly and accommodating ... especially with our baby - she loved it there. We stayed one night in a Citadines in central Paris and the baby cried all night!!!

We drove down to the romantic Paris during our Europe Tour. An Ancor Hotel is a very good and has be renovated over the years. Parking for guests & coaches is also available. Rooms have good furniture with bed, TV, dryer. Complimentary breakfast with wine and champange was great gesture towards guests & unique in our Europe tour. The hotel is good value for money as our two days stay in the hotel was very relaxing. Paris night shows were highly exciting. We visited Effiel Tower, Lido, Arc de Triump, river boat ride, night shows. Hotel appears to be safe for resident guests. All major attractions like river boat ride, night shows are close to the hotel.
