We had our concierge make a dinner reservation at Le Pavillion de Margaux for a Monday evening in mid-March, 2007 (i.e., off season). We arrived at the beautiful hotel and were escorted to the golf club area for our dinner. We were expecting the worse as this was an off night and their regular dining room was closed. The four of us proceeded to have a wonderful meal with excellent service. No shortcuts were taken because we were "only" in the golf club. I would highly recommend Le Pavillion de Margaux to any traveler in the Haut-Medoc region of Bordeaux. Bart Springer in Pennsylvania, USA.
