Most of hotel rooms are close to a road with heavy trucks and fast cars. Also the air conditioning tower works all night long.

Beach rooms are more confortable but costy.

All inclusive system of this hotel works well but is only average in quality (food recreation activities) with very nice drinks made at the beach bar average/good regional wines and champagne, served in plastic cans whilst at the beach or close to the swiming pool. Internet is not included and is over priced priced.

Maragogi city is very close and may be acessed if you need anything from lanhouse to medicine.

Considering the local price for a stay nearby the hotel has a good ratio but should improve both recreation team and food.

Although the beach in front of the hotel is not nice (seaweeds specially with full moon) a 6-10km walk south or north bound will take you to the most beautiful places in the area.

Also don’t miss the tours to Galés and Cróa de São Bento. A good hint is to first check the sea table at http://www.mar.mil.br/dhn/chm/tabuas/index.htm (see for Maceió or Recife).

The location is just perfect. Activities for children are great. Staff is nice and people are always trying to help. But the "All inclusive system", which includes meals and beverage, doesn't work. The quality of the food is average (not to say bad) and three restaurants are always crowded. Rooms and bathrooms are small.

In despite of being older and smaller than brazilian top resorts, Salinas do Maragogi is a very confortable hotel. The rooms are always clean and the bathroom is OK. The beach in front of the hotel is calm and warm. Sometimes it is full of brown algaes, what is not confortable... The service is very nice and food is good but the options are always the same.

This was our first time on a resort. We married in December 2005, and spend our honeymoon at Salinas do Maragogi. It is not necessary to say that it was a very very pleasant stay. Staff is friendly; pool was clean and it is very nice; the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, although it was full of seaweed. The resort offer a sort of sports, including tennis classes. But the very best thing was the food. Food was E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T ! ! ! Overall, Brazilian food is far away the best of the world. They had fish, sea food, lots of variety of pasta, INCREDIBLE meat, Brazilian and Regional dishes and dozens of amazing desserts. The regional food of the NORTHEAST is undescribable. We had our breakfast and would eat again by night. The breakfast is the most rich, delicious and varied I've ever seen. It was more like a brunch, but a G O O D O N E. Drinks are colorful and amazing. We loved at all. It is a beautiful resort, on a privileged area. The room is nice, but could be more confortable. The bathroom is spacious and nice. They offer lots of amenities. The theater is rustic and they offer a variety of good shows.
