We arrived at 11:00pm - the room was about a block down the street from the office, through a locked gate, around a poorly lit pool, at the end of an unsigned dark hallway. There were three locks on the door once we got inside. The main window was broken - missing a chunk of glass - and all the windows were open and the one in the bathroom was missing a screen. The decor was VERY dated - c. 1970. The room was clean, but super musty smelling. The AC was noisy, as was the ceiling fan and the street noise. Very un-nerving! Still we only needed a place to sleep before boarding the cruise ship in the morning. It worked - we lived... but for a few dollars more, we could have been much more comfortable!

I have a another review under phillyguy531 from last year this my second visit i just got back and i must say second time around was bad. 1st room dirty not clean at all 2nd no air and 3rd was the best of the 3 large and clean but it was only clean 4 times in 8 days. i have several videos on youtube under phillyguy531 so u can check out this hotel and the area. i sat in the lobby and watch person after person complain about no water and dirty rooms one after another. you can drop me email under [---] any question about this hotel. i will post pictures soon.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The 1st room was a dirty we complained n we were giving a different room which was great can't complain about. Staff was friendly and as far as the area I never felt unsecured at all. Far as I recall there were cops checking in the lobby every night. The first room was rated 1
The second I rate a 8 comfort

If you want a low budget place to stay - this meets the grade. Its an older motel but they have obviously taken pains to make it nice without spending a lot of money. We arrived late at night and were a little edgy at first. We walked over the pedestrian bridge to the main road for a bite to eat and realized it wasn't as bad as it seemed at first glance. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean. TV and a/c worked fine.
