We stayed in the Mahagony part of The Creole Beach & Spa, and we believe (and were told by the front desk) that this is the best part of the hotel. The room seemed completely renovated with modern furniture and bathroom. The room had a balcony with kitchenette, which was poorly equipped, but sufficient for two persons to cook a simple meal. We only dined once at one of the two restaurants of the resort and the food was good, but slightly overpriced. The bar in the lobby is too expensive (4,5 euro for a soda). However on the beach you can get sodas at reasonable prices (2,5 euros) and good pizzas and sandwiches (only for lunch). The beach is nice and the pool is great. We booked a room with sea view, but the view was partly distorted by the roofs of the suites located in front of our building. We also had a good look into the bed- and bathroom of these suites. This is something that you might want to consider, also when you book a suite at Mahagony. From the pictures from other travelers we believe that the Mahagony is indeed the better part of the Creole hotel. It could be that if you have rooms in other buildings, and you depend on the hotels' restaurants for dining, you will get disappointed. Nearby there are only few other restaurants. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to others, but only with the mentioned remarks taking into account.
