I didn't have a reservation and just walked up to the evening front desk young man to ask for any rooms. He stated that they had rooms available and I gave him my priority club platinum card. He proceeded to check me in and said it was a room with 2 double beds. I asked if I could get a king size bed and he said they only had rooms on the executive floor with king size beds available and I wasn't eleigible as a platinum member to be upgraded as I didn't reserve a king size bed. I told him as a platinum member I almost always get upgraded if the rooms are available. He stated that the only thing that priority club was for is to earn points for my stay. I was treated as a every day person who seldomly stays at hotels. I advised the bell man after he asked me how my stay was that I will continue to stay at the local Holiday Inn who treats me as a platinum member and not just a common seldom renter.
