I arrived at the "hotel" hoping the Tudor style exterior did not match the interior. I am pleased to say it didn't thanks to whoever decorated the place back in the 60s! After searching for a member of staff through a grotty pub with a stale smell, i was met with a member of staff that could share the same description who kindly showed me to my squat. Rotten sink, single glazed window , horrible decor, dirty duvet, cold room and a tv I thought was a mini fridge it was that old. I stayed out as long as I could to avoid hOtel but eventually had to sleep. Lying in bed with the portable heater shining in my face I have to admit I was a bit scared ...i was pleased to be calmed with the noise and talking from rooms next to me that kept me company. Being glad to leave a hotel is never a good sign. However in the morning I couldn't leave for a days trip without going to the toilet. The shared bathroom was the worst place I have ever seen circa 1970s with rotten tiles etc . I was only glad to leave a thankyou for my stay so took an amazing dump in the toilet...looked more appealing than hotel.
