My wife & I had a very pleasant one night stay in this hotel - such a lovely setting - even got to stand at the back fence talking to a farmer who was walking his property checking fences and his sheep. Very scenic and we were lucky to arrive after the main summer rush was over - we felt like we were almost exclusive guests. Jamie MacLennan was first class in all respects. We had very good service for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend!

On our way to the Hebrides our group stayed overnight at the hotel. We were made welcome and our rooms were very good, with nice country views. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. After dinner we went to one of the small lounges that had a roaring fire to relax with a malt whisky - the bar had an excellent choice of malt whiskies. We had a perfect stay.

Just back from a weekend in Kinkell House. The hotel was lovely, with warm, clean rooms. The staff were friendly and efficent. The only minor criticism is that the menu could have been more varied from one night to the next, having said that, the food was excellant. We would love to return and have no problem reccomending the hotel to anyone.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Kinkell House hotel while visiting friends in the area. It was a lovely quiet area but a bit further out of Dingwall than we expected but only 5-10 minute drive away (£15 in taxi). The hotel is very homely with nice cosy rooms. We were in room 5 which was a double, very clean and comfortable but could have perhaps done with a mirror somewhere in the room as the only one was in the bathroom. The bathroom was very modern with an amazing raindrop shower, small but everything you need. To top the room off there was a huge flat screen tv and free bottled water. There was a slight musty smell in the hallway off the bedroom but we didn't spend long there that it was a problem! The breakfasts were very tasty. There were fresh juices, cereals, yoghurts, fruit and cooked breakfast (which was fab with local black pudding & haggis!). Overall, very clean and comfortable hotel with tasty food and friendly service, what more do you need! We will be happy to return and recommend to anyone staying in the area. Gorgeous views across the water aswell when the weather is dry & sunny!
