Eddy and Anne welcomed us and treated more as family than as customers. No shortcuts have been taken in the refurbishment of this fine old stone house in a main yet quiet street in a quaint little village of Burntisland on the seaside about half an hour from Edinburgh. Breakfasts are excellent and the menu is not a standard B&B menu. Eddie was a chef for much of his working life! Eddie and Anne obviously take great pride in their role as hosts. Fine attention is given to every detail of the service to guests from genuine personal interest in you as a person to everything you would expect in terms of classy comfort in an ensuite room generous in every way. 69 Cromwell Road has been equal to any B&B we have experienced, and superior to the majority.

Eddie and Ann have thought of everything in thier B&B, the rooms are wonderful and clean, comfy beds, every extra you can think of down to dressing gowns, cotton wool buds many more things you may need. All Modern ,and good showers. Eddie and Anne make you feel so welcome in thier home, in fact home from home.

Myself being a "Veggie" no matter where i go or which hotel find it difficult for meals.
Not Eddie, he supprised me in our four day stay. Every day at breakfast another treat, so unusual the food he served. A pleasure and a suprise every morning.
Thank you Eddie missed my breakfast on my return home.
But my husband too the choice fantastic, the plater of fresh fruit, the choice of ceral. and yes the English breakfast a delight.
If you are reading this you must take the trip, you will enjoy at a good price too.

We stayed at 69 Cromwell Road while visiting nearby relatives, after having stayed in several of the other local hotels and been disappointed, we thought we'd try a B&B instead. Absolutely fantastic! Eddie was extremely welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best we've ever had. Having a background in 4/5 star hotels, this is high praise indeed! Would recommend to anyone visiting Burntisland or surrounding area.
