Booked a suite at short notice and was warned about a wedding taking place. Suite was great, as was the service! Only issue was wedding guests coming back to their rooms in the early hours with volume stuck on party mode (i.e. loud conversations in the lobby and outside) can't blame hotel for that!

We decided to book last minute as we stay nearby. All the staff were really helpful and the evening meal in the restaurant was excellent along with the friendly service. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed in the Erskine suite which was nice. The only downsides were the power of the shower and the bathroom was cold. Also, the adjoining sitting room could benefit from a make over. These were only minor things but as we were just staying for one night didn't bother us. In summary, great food and friend & helpful staff which made it a nice night away from the kids!!

We have stayed here a lot of times and would like to congratulate Eva and her team who have consistently made our stays a pleasure. All of the staff are helpful and friendly, and the food is excellent, so much so that they have been awarded AA Rosettes for their culinary delights, and believe me they deserve it. Looking forward to our next stay, it can't come soon enough especially with the roaring log fires making the hotel warm and comfortable.

we will never know if this hotel is worth its reputation as after a booking error on their part they sent us to their sister hotel 'Norwood Hall' in Aberdeen for a nightmare experience that we will not for get so soon... Obviously management issues to be resolved!
