proed to be ideal budget accomodation
basic but clean room
quick check in
next door pub was good value with free wi fi
no complaints would definately use again when travelling alone
did not hear any noise but i was in a room facing the rear of hotel
will be even better when metro is open
at 12.50 a night it was great

I have just returned from a brief trip to the UK and stayed here for just one night, despite some extremely conflicting reviews.

I paid £19 for the accommodation and for this I had a decent sized double room with a comfortable bed, clean linen, a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a spotlessly clean bathroom. The location is very convenient for all transport links.

There is no restaurant, just snacks and drinks from a vending machine in Reception, but the Sheldon Arms pub adjacent to Travelodge offers an excellent lunch and dinner menu and now a varied breakfast menu (Full English, just £3.99). A great start to my day!

Check-in was simple and handled in a welcoming and friendly manner. There is currently ongoing work immediately outside the hotel extending the Metrolink tram system. I had a room at the back and didn’t hear any building noise at all. However, when leaving for breakfast, it didn’t appear as though there was much activity on the site anyway.

Once again, the Travelodge group gave excellent value for money.

Nice Travelodge over 3 floors it has a lift the staff are freindly and very helpful the only downside is the location is on a very noisy main road with the constant drone of traffic and also the new Metrolink will be about 10 feet the front of the building it is currently under construction so this also provides another set of issues.There are plenty of places to eat very close and a first class pub next door.

we were happy with our stay in the hotel..just water in bath didnt stay hot at all...but we enjoyed it...
